ALUMINIUM-2007/ALUMICO

On September 26-28, 2007 Crocus Expo Exhibition Centre welcomed ALUMINIUM-2007/ALUMICO – the 1^st International specialized exhibition for technologies and equipment for aluminium manufacturing and processing, aluminium semi finished and finished products.

The exhibition is organized by MVK International Exhibition Company, the specialist in organization of industrial exhibitions.

The representatives of state and business structures were present at the official opening ceremony of ALUMINIUM’2007/ALUMICO. The floor was given to Petr Peredery, the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Industry and Energy of Russia; Yuriy Shtefanuk, the Head of RUSAL Aluminium Department; Andrey Lapshin, the President of MVK International Exhibition Company and Soner Tetick, the Deputy Director General of FENIS.

ALUMINIUM-2007/ALUMICO was held at Crocus Expo Exhibition Centre pavilion 2, hall 6. 65 companies from Russia, Germany, the USA, Italy, Spain, Turkey, China, Poland and Ukraine exhibited their products at the area of 1,200 sq m. 20 specialized mass media provided information support.

The relevance of the exhibition was proved by high interest on the part of the aluminium industry leaders. Russian companies Stupinsk Metallurgic Company; BK-ALPROF; Podolsk Non-Ferrous metal Plant; NPK Nakal; Ogneupor-Complect; Suholozhsk Ogneupor; South-Met Resource; Everything for Gated; Vtormet; TokSoft; AluTech Systems and foreign companies from Germany, the USA, Italy, Spain, Turkey, China, Poland: Seco/Warwick, Otto Junker , FENIS , ALCRON , Arslan, Tacalex, Alfa Alum, Bosch Rexroth, August Mossner GMBH, ASAS Aluminyum, GiA S.L., System Karasu participated in the exhibition.

ALUMINIUM-2007/ALUMICO topics were the following: primary aluminium; aluminium alloys, ingots, raw material; aluminium of high and special purity; technological equipment; reworking of aluminium; new means of aluminium manufacture; aluminium in packing, transport, building industries and some other trends.

ALUMINIUM-2007/ALUMICO business programme corresponds the burning questions of aluminium industry. In the framework of the project there was organized the 1^st International theoretical and practical conference “Aluminium in Construction Industry”.

Marketing agency B2B Research introduced the audience analytical materials on macroeconomic situation in Russia influence; market volume and dynamics of its development. The audience got interested in the reports given by the heads of the leading Turkish companies Fenis Aluminium, Assan Demir, Italian company Alfalum and Russian companies Alkotech and Alustem. There were also introduced the reports on the present state and main tendencies of the modern aluminium market and the latest technological and scientific innovations.

In the framework of the exhibition there were organized an off-site round table and visit to VTORMET enterprise for the representatives of Russian and foreign companies.
